What Oliver Reads…

Below is a list of books Oliver (currently age 12) has read, organized by school year/age.

I keep track of the kids’ reading for the obvious reason of general record-keeping. However, we have found that our booklists are helpful to other traveling/schooling families who are looking for age-appropriate titles. Keeping a running list of books the kids have read also helps me to round out their reading. Meaning, if I see a consistent stretch of fiction, I will suggest a biography, history, poetry or classic literature before the next fiction novel can be chosen. A well-rounded reading diet is the best supplement to anyone’s education, young or old…  ~ Enjoy!
